Sammi Snodderly had 18 kills to lead No. 2 Williamsport to a 25-21, 25-23, 19-25, 25-20 MVAL Antietam Conference win over South Hagerstown on Thursday.

Emily Malott added 10 kills and six blocks for the Wildcats (10-1, 3-0) while Beth Ryan had 21 assists and Lauren Brown and Lacie Johnson each had seven kills.

For South (9-3, 2-2), Brittany Hyatt had 36 assists and nine service points, Chelsea Weaver had 16 kills and six service points, Jamie Fowler had 10 kills and five service points and Caitlyn Nicewarner had seven kills and four blocks.

No. 1 Hedgesville 3 Jefferson 0

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va - Megan Grant had 24 digs and three blocks for Hedgesville as the Eagles swept Jefferson 25-15, 25-19, 26-16 in the Apple Valley League.


Kayla Laing added nine kills and two aces for the Eagles (12-1) while Ryan Mills had eight kills and five aces.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Ashleigh Helfrick and Tiff Hunsberger each had 22 digs for James Buchanan in its 25-9, 25-12, 25-10 win over Trinity.

Leslie Serrano and Jess Snyder each added 12 digs for the Rockets (16-2) while Erica Helfrick had 24 assists.

THURMONT, Md. - Kierra Nelson had nine kills and six blocks, Kaitlin Zimmer had 10 kills and two blocks and Katie Plume had 22 digs and four aces as North Hagerstown (11-1, 3-0) swept Catoctin 25-20, 25-19, 25-15 in the MVAL Antietam.

For the Cougars (3-6, 0-4), Jessika Krietz had 19 digs, Renee Seis had 14 digs and Becky Cuddahee had four kills.

CLEAR SPRING - Jessie Ambrose had 12 service points, 12 kills and 11 assists for Boonsboro as it swept Clear Spring 25-9, 25-10, 25-17 in the MVAL Antietam Conference.

Kim Snavely added 10 points and eight digs for the Warriors (12-1, 3-1) while Caitlyn Selby had 11 kills and Lynnae Messner had eight points.

FREDERICK, Md. - Bethany Springer had 10 kils, 11 service points, nine digs and two blocks to lead Thomas Johnson to a 25-17, 25-15, 25-22 sweep of Middletown.

Laura Morrow added six kills, five service points and four digs for the Patriots (7-4), while Sara Hanlon added six kills. Erin Dickman had five service points and four digs while Nicole Pagano added 15 assists ans five service points.

Sarah Watkins had three blocks and three aces while Amanda Lewis had six kills for Middletown (5-6).

HANCOCK - Jenna Demory had 17 assists and 11 points for Hancock in its 25-13, 25-14, 25-10 loss to Martinsburg in the Apple Valley League.

Amber Moats added seven points and 12 kills for the Panthers (3-7, 3-5) while Katie Golden had six digs.

Broadfording 3, Shalom 1

Hannah Bywaters had 16 service points and 11 digs to lead Broadfording Christian Academy to a 25-12, 25-11, 21-25, 25-17 win over Shalom Christian in the MDCC.

Leslie Brown had 14 service points and 10 digs for the Lions (13-4, 11-2) while Becca Conner had 22 asssists.

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Brandy Swope had 19 service points, 12 digs and four aces for Southern Fulton in its 25-12, 26-24, 25-23 sweep of Fannett-Metal in the Sideling Hill League.

Candace Bard had nine kills for the Indians (9-5, 6-4) while Jessie Wigfield added seven kills and seven service points.

CVCS 3, Calvary 1

CRESAPTOWN, Md. - Maggie Brookens had 15 kills, 11 digs and seven service points to lead Cumberland Valley Christian to a 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21 win over Calvary in the MDCC.

Shaina Liddick had 17 kills for CVCS (11-5, 8-3) and Molly Brookens had eight digs, 14 service points and an ace.

McConnellsburg 3, Everett 1

Dani Paruth had 12 service points and five aces to lead McConnellsburg in its 24-26, 25-16, 25-12, 25-21 Sideling Hill League win over Everett. Gretchen Swope had 10 kills and Emily Ott added 21 assists for the Spartans (10-4, 8-1).

CAMP HILL, Pa - Treavor Gelsinger and Dustin Young each scored to lead Greencastle to a win over Trinity in the Mid-Penn Capital.

Adam Wiestling and Trevor Frederick each added an assist for the Blue Devils (14-1, 10-1).

No. 2 Martinsburg 9 Musselman 3

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Trent Reid scored three goals to lead Martinsburg over Musselman.

Adam Polinik added two goals and two assists for the Bulldogs (16-1-1) while Mike Jones added two goals and Steve Seem and Matt Martin each scored one.

Trevor Dusing, Devon Davis and Jamie Luster each scored for the Applemen (4-10-1).

BOONSBORO - Tyler McKenrick scored two goals to lead Boonsboro to a win over Smithsburg in the MVAL Antietam Conference.

Jake Munson, Dave Stout and Dan Tonetti each added a goal for the Warriors (12-1, 5-1) while Eric Fries had two assists.

Mark Vomend scored for the Leopards (3-9, 3-3).

POTOMAC, Md. - Nate Venditta had 12 saves for St. James (5-6-3, 3-5-2) in its double-overtime tie with St. Andrews in the MAC.
