Girls Under-14 Division


Hagerstown Crush 4, Walkersville Lions 0

Josie Smith set up the Crush's first two goals with well placed cross-passes.

Onna DeGross scored the first and Meredith Perini scored the second.

Danni Smith set up Christine Kantner, who scored the third goal of the period.

Kelli Wright scored the only goal in the second half off a shot deflected by a Walkersville defender.

HAYSL Under-10 Division


Blue Ridge Anesthesia 1, Georgetown Pediatric Neurology 1

Sophie Mott of Georgetown's Lightning stopped five shots before Caroline Bradford scored for the Blue Ridge Anesthesia "Yellow Swarm."

Zach Barton made a cross field assist to Jeb Shingler for The Lightning to tie it just prior to halftime.

The second half featured outstanding goalkeeping by the Yellow Swarm's Scott Long and Noah Wright.

Daniel Martz led the Lightning defense.

Dual Highway Motors 2, Goal Diggers 1

Connor Abeles scored early for Goal Diggers but The Slime Machine had two third quarter goals by Matt Breakall. Jordan Dickens added an assist.

The Dual Highway Motors defense was anchored by Ty Stotler and Kristen Davis.

White Wolves 5, Flaming Fireballs 0

The Wolves' Nick Sauble scored three goals and Terrence Hodges added two more.

Panthers 3, Green Grenades 1

Hunter Gift and Wyatt Farmer each scored their first goal of the season for the Panthers and Matthew Stambaugh added another.

Hussein Faridi countered with one unassisted goal for the Grenades. Matthew Stambaugh kicked the third goal for the Panthers.

Flaming Stallions 5, Allegheny Dental Care 3

Steven Glaspell scored two goals for Allegheny and Kian Roberts also added a goal.

Cody Yates scored three goals and Michael Suffecool added a pair of goals for the Stallions.

Tatyana Hodges and Toriana Pyron played well for the Stallions.




HAYSL Under-14 Division


Georgetown Pediatric Neurology 4, Henson & Son 3

Conor Doherty got Henson & Son Comets on the scoreboard first, but Ben Goodrich scored two goals in the second quarter to give the Hurricanz the lead.

Derek Smith's two third-quarter goals, one assisted by Paul Chae, put the Comets ahead 3-2.

Jesse Draper came back with two goals in the fourth quarter to win the game for the Hurricanz.

The first goal was assisted by Amanda Hutzell.

Reliable Tax & Accounting Services 4, Barnhart Electric 0

Josh Green scored the first goal for Reliable off a pass from Jared Savage in the first half of the game and Patrick Demosky added another.

Early in the second half, Jamie Horine and Collin Sanders each scored with assists from Joey Hardin.

William Carroll, Victor Sanchez, Emad Khan, and Katie Mittag played outstanding defense for Reliable.

For Barnhart Electric, Nicholas Carr, Robert Barnhart and Chad Whitmore played well.

HFD Engine Co. Three 2, W&C Heating & Air 1

Tyler Morris scored the winning goal in the fourth quarter for the Engine Co. assisted by Thomas Cuthbert.

Caroline Kreiger got the scoring started in the first quarter with a goal but W&C came back when Tyler Kalkbrenner assisted Jake Steich's third-quarter score.




HAYSL Under-12 Division


Blazers 1, Burgundy Bats 0

Chip Rittenhouse's penalty kick turned out to be all the Blazers needed as they defeated the Burgundy Bats.

Port City Java 3, Garden State Auto Leather 3

The Port City Snow tied the game midway through the second half and the Garden State Blue Storm held off several Snow attacks to preserve the tie.

Cole Catlett scored two and Dusten Myers scored one for the Snow.

Tyler Myers scored the Blue Storm's three goals.

Green Thing 2, Windmill Shop 2

Amber Shumaker and Colby Robinson scored for the Green Thing, and Dennis Gladhill and Malik Powell scored for the Windmill Shop Flames.

Dan-Lar Elevator 5, Blue Tsunami 1

The Blue Tsunami started strong after Bilal Pirzada's corner kick found Larry Maupin for the team's only goal.

The Dan-Lar White Lightning pulled even by the end of the first half and started to pull away midway through the second half with goals by Peter Perini, Tracy Forcino, and Tia Kline.

Blue Tsunami 5, Garden State Auto Leather 1

The Blue Tsunami's balanced scoring and teamwork resulted in two goals by Larry Maupin and goals by Bilal Pirzada, Zach Staley, and Ryan Mils.

Tyler Myers scored late in the game for the Garden State Blue Storm.




HAYSL Under-8/Under-10 Girls Division


Hagerstown Hotshots 1, Soccer Stars 0

Tayler Hassler and Hannah Knapp both had two saves in the goal for the Soccer Stars but Caitlin Cox managed to score the game's only goal for the Hotshots.

Blue Thunder 2, Purple Flames 1

Pat Tolbert scored for the Purple Flames, but it wasn't enough as Dominique Sears scored two goals for the Blue Thunder off two assists by Halima Bayoh.

Under-12 Girls Traveling


CSL Little Leopards: 3, GVAA Spain 0

Samantha Koterwas scored two goals while Heather Lewis added one for the win.

Logan Bachtell, Rachel Poffenberger and Allison Pope combined for the shutout in the goal.

The Little Leopards are currently 6-0.
