1 and 2 p.m.: Tours of West Virginia University Fruit Tree Research & Education Center, Kearneysville, W.Va.

2 p.m.: Tours of the Appalachian Fruit Research Station, Kearneysville.

6 p.m.: MSAHF Silver Gala Reception and Dinner, Charles Town (W.Va.) Races and Slots. $25, single; $40, couple.

Friday

Noon to 1 p.m.: Apple Pie Baking Contest at Martinsburg Mall.

1 and 2 p.m.: Tours of West Virginia University Fruit Tree Research & Education Center and the Appalachian Fruit Research Station.

6 p.m.: Coronation of Queen Pomona XXV at the Apollo Civic Theatre, 128 E. Martin St. Free.

6:30 p.m.: "Souled Out" concert at War Memorial Park in Martinsburg. Free.

9 p.m.: Fireworks at War Memorial Park. Free.

Saturday

7 a.m. to noon: Pancake breakfast at Youth Fairgrounds, Golf Course Road in Martinsburg. Tickets cost $4.50 in advance, $5 at the door. Children younger than 7 free.

8 a.m.: Apple arrangements and apple growers' contest at Youth Fairgrounds.

8:30 a.m.: Celebrity Sports Breakfast with former West Virginia University basketball coach Gale Catlett at Holiday Inn, Viking Way in Martinsburg. Tickets cost $10.

10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Arts and crafts show at Youth Fairgrounds. Admission costs $3.

11 a.m.: Apple pie auction at Youth Fairgrounds.

Noon: Five-kilometer Apple Trample starts at Dorothy McCormack Center next to City Hospital. Entry fee is $10. Late entry fee is $15. Call 1-304-264-1232.

1 p.m.: Parade with celebrity grand marshal Tyler Christopher of "General Hospital" in downtown Martinsburg.

7 to 11 p.m.: Square dancing at Eagle Intermediate School, Eagle School Road in Martinsburg. Cost is $6 in advance or $7 at the door. Call 1-304-263-1053.

9 p.m. to 1 a.m.: Grand Ball with "The Fabulous Bel Airs" at Heritage Hall, Inwood, W.Va. Advance tickets cost $30.

n Sunday (all events at Youth Fairgrounds)

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Arts and crafts show. Admission costs $3.

4 p.m.: Baby Apple Seed Contest.

5:30 p.m.: Quilt raffle drawings.

Downtown Chambersburg, Pa.

Event will feature live entertainment, children's activities, crafts and food vendors along the streets of downtown Chambersburg. Free parking.
