How did you get into your business, or what motivated you to start it? "I have always been fascinated by reptiles since I was a child. My husband, Barry, had one snake he adopted from his nephew. It grew from there. We started going to shows, and we just could never leave a show without buying a critter. We decided to turn my passion into an educational program. I read all the time of people who have pets, realize they can't take care of them because the pet got too big to handle, or costs too much to feed. These pets then get abandoned or left out in the wild to fend for themselves. I preach to my audiences to please research any pet before they get one. Be sure you can take care of the creature that will depend on you - dog, cat, reptile, etc. They are cute and cuddly, but they grow up and it's a lot of responsibility."
