Overcash-Johnson


Gail Lorraine Johnson and Christopher Lars Overcash were married Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, in an outdoor ceremony at Peerce's Plantation in Phoenix, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Lorraine Johnson of Mifflinburg, Pa., and David Johnson of Bensalem, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of Bradley and Peggy Overcash of Hagerstown.

The bride is a 1988 graduate of William Tennent High School in Warminster, Pa., and received a bachelor of science degree in environmental planning from Towson State University in 1997. She is employed at KCI Technologies Inc. in Hunt Valley, Md.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, received a bachelor of science degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 1995, and a master's degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2002. He is a licensed engineer, also employed with KCI Technologies Inc. in Hunt Valley.

Hoffman-Crampton


Jenna Marie Crampton and Toby Lynn Hoffman were married Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Cheryl Crampton of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Sandra Hoffman and Kenneth Hoffman, both of Hagerstown.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Williamsport High School and received a certificate in practical nursing from Hagerstown Community College this year. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Clear Spring High School and received an associate's degree from Hagerstown Community College in 2002. He is employed as an electrician's apprentice with L.H. Cranston in Frederick, Md. He also is a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.

They live in Hagerstown.




Byrd-Hazlett


Tina Lynn Hazlett and Rickard Theodore Byrd were married Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Church of Christ in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Jane and Mario Piccirilli of Marienville, Pa., and Robert and Michelle Hazlett of Polk, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of Dale and Peggy Lewis of Boonsboro and Rick and Mary Byrd of Shepherdstown, W.Va.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Franklin High School and received a degree in special education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999. She is employed with Washington County Board of Education as a special educator at North Hagerstown High School.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is employed with The Contractor Yard in Frederick, Md.




Baker-Breeden


Bambi Lynn Breeden and Jeremiah Andrew Baker were married Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Christ Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Cindy Breeden of Hagerstown and Randy Breeden of Williamsport. The bridegroom is the son of Jeffery Baker of Hagerstown and Belinda Ford of Chambersburg, Pa.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She is employed as an assistant manager with 7-Eleven Convenience Store in Hagerstown.

The bridegroom also is employed with

7-Eleven in Hagerstown.

They live in Hagerstown.

Lisa Joanne Mariotto and William Carling Stoner II were married Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Dickenson Bay in St. Johns, Antigua.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Sandra Mariotto of Joliet, Ill. The bridegroom is the son of William and Marilyn Stoner of Sharpsburg.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Providence Catholic High School. She is employed by Airpax Manufacturing in Frederick, Md.

The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is employed at Thermal Devices in Mount Airy, Md.

They live in Hagerstown.

Barbara J. Kendall and Kevin R. Smith were married Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at the Allure Chalet in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Joyce Kendall of Smithsburg. The bridegroom is the son of Dick and Pat Smith of Smithsburg.

The bride is employed as an administrative assistant with the office of Dr. Otto Roza. She also is part owner of B&K Contracting.

The bridegroom is self-employed as owner of B&K Contracting.

They live in Smithsburg.




Eccard-Kretzer


Lorraine Kretzer and Bill Eccard were married Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Benevola United Methodist Church near Boonsboro.

The bride recently retired from Washington County Public Schools after 33 years of teaching.

The bridegroom is employed with Mack Trucks Inc. in Hagerstown.

They live in Boonsboro.




Leggett-Griffith


Mamie E. Griffith and the Rev. William H. Leggett were married Saturday, July 10, 2004, at 13300 Keener Road in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of the late Roy and Addie Martz. The bridegroom is the son of the late Harrison and Martha Leggett.

They are both retired and living in Hagerstown.
