Carr-Acree


Kelly Lynn Acree and Jerome William Carr were married Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Frederick, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Linda Acree of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Jerome and Helen Carr of Columbia, Md.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in political science from Frostburg State University in 2001. She is employed as a recruitment coordinator at SAIC in Columbia.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Hammond High School in Columbia, and received a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Frostburg State University in 2000. He received a juris doctorate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 2003. He is employed at SAIC as a maritime intelligence analyst and as a Naval Reserve intelligence specialist in Suitland, Md.

Farmer-Mills


Dianne Amelia Mills and Stephen Gregory Farmer were married Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at the Mount Calvary Church of God in Clear Spring.

The bride is the daughter of Ted and Dorothy Mills of Big Pool. The bridegroom is the son of Randy and Betty Spangler of Princeton, W.Va.

The bride is a 1990 graduate of Clear Spring High School, received a bachelor's degree in social work from Shepherd College in 1995 and a master's degree in social work from West Virginia University in 2003. She is employed as a licensed social worker with Stonebrook Inc. in Martinsburg, W.Va.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Pike View High School in Princeton. He is employed as a trailer mechanic by Bowman Sales and Equipment in Hagerstown.

They live in Williamsport.

Ashley Nicole Embly and Jeb Lee Shank were married Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Benevola United Methodist Church in Boonsboro.

The bride is the daughter of Denny and Brenda Embly of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Ronnie and Teresa Shank of Williamsport.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, and received an associate's degree in business administration from Hagerstown Community College. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting from Frostburg State University Hagerstown Center. She is manager of Dairy Queen in Hagerstown.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Williamsport High School, and is pursuing an associate's degree in business administration at Hagerstown Community College. He is employed with Teleflex Morse in Hagerstown.

Amy Nicole Michael and Scott Michael Seylar were married July 31, 2004, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Chewsville.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Michael III of Boonsboro. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Seylar of Greencastle, Pa.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Boonsboro High School and a 2003 graduate of McDaniel College, formerly known as Western Maryland College, with a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics. She is employed as a math teacher at Springfield Middle School in Williamsport.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and a 2004 graduate of Shippensburg (Pa.) University with a bachelor of arts degree in history. He is employed as a flight instructor at Eagle Air in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of William and Barbara Dutton of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Mary Keller of Hagerstown.
