Police report mobile home residents tied up, car stolen

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Police said that on Monday morning at least two men broke into a home in Gantt's Mobile Home Community outside of Martinsburg, tied up everyone in the trailer and stole a car.

Sgt. Dean Olack, with the West Virginia State Police, said that no arrests had been made.

The assailants held everybody inside the home at gunpoint and "pistol-whipped" one person, Olack said.

Then they stole a car. Police were given a be-on-the-lookout warning for a Mitsubishi Diamante, Olack said.

Olack said he had did not have additional information because the trooper who is investigating the case was off-duty Monday afternoon.
