Boy on bike hit by vehicle

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A 15-year-old Shippensburg, Pa., boy was flown to Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center Saturday after he was stuck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle on Pa. 233 near Orrstown, Pa., Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg said.

The boy, whose name was not released by police, was riding north on the road when he swerved suddenly into the vehicle traveling in the same direction.

He was flown to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of a head injury, police said.
