Police crime report

September 23, 2004

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following calls on Wednesday, according to Sgt. Curt Wood:

· At 3:36 a.m., an assault was reported at the intersection of North Prospect and West Franklin streets.

· At 9:09 a.m., an assault was reported in the 100 block of East Franklin Street.

· At 10:48 a.m., a beige 1985 Lincoln Town Car, with Pennsylvania registration plates EKN3723 was reported stolen from the first block of West Franklin Street.

· At 3:40 p.m., windows were reported damaged to property in the 800 block of The Terrace.

· At 5:17 p.m., Maryland registration plates PAZ-720 were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1700 block of Dual Highway.

· At 5:33 p.m., domestic violence was reported in the 1000 block of Brinker Drive.

· At 5:48 p.m., a BB gun was reported found in the rear to a home in the first block of Wakefield Road.


The Washington County Sheriff's Department received the following crime reports on Tuesday, Sheriff's Sgt. Mark Knight said:

· Reported at 1:30 p.m., 34 pieces of construction-grade plywood were reported stolen from a the site where a home is being built on Luella Place, off Md. 494 near Clear Spring.

· Reported at 3 p.m., a home on the 14300 block of Tollgate Ridge, near Hancock, was broken into. Stolen was a 32-inch Mitsubishi TV, a VCR, a DVD player, a CD and MP3 player, an Eagle-brand fish finder, and about 30 DVDs and 10 CDs.
