SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Grace Academy graduate Susanna Hill had team highs of 16 kills and 12 digs to lead Shepherd University past Davis & Elkins 30-11, 30-17, 30-18 for its fourth straight victory.

North Hagerstown grad Nicole Morgan had 40 assists and nine digs, Middletown grad Aubrey Pfau had 10 kills and Beth Schaible had 10 digs for the Rams (7-9, 4-0 WVIAC).

HCC 3, Cecil 0


NORTH EAST, Md - Staci Grabill had 34 assists and five digs for to lead HCC past Cecil Community College, 30-27, 30-20, 30-23.

Megan Miller added eight kills and five digs for the Hawks (11-1, 4-0) while Savanah Wetzel had 26 digs.

Adam Forimaya had eight saves for the Hawks (2-2) in the loss.




FROSH FOOTBALL



North 35, South 6: Justin Donaldson rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns to lead North (3-0-1) past South (1-1). Delon Agee, Dee Wilson and Todd Smith each had a touchdown for North.

Smithsburg 34, Boonsboro 6: Bryan Faulders threw touchdown passes to Kevin Kocsis, Daniel Rishell and Jared Daniels as Smithsburg rolled past Boonsboro. Kocsis and Matt Plumley each added a rushing score for the Leopards (1-1-1).




JV FOOTBALL



South 15, North 6: Marcellus Sumlin had a 2-yard touchdown run and a 42-yard touchdown pass to Ben Mertz to lead South Hagerstown (2-0) past North Hagerstown (2-1). Dee Mensey had a touchdown run for North.

Boonsboro 57, Smithsburg 26: Kyle Kane had three touchdowns to lead Boonsboro. Kane scored on a 60-yard fumble return and runs of 25 and 15 yards to pace the Warriors (1-1). Brad Rohrer, Matt Wetzel, Jessi Dalton and Matt Beall also scored touchdowns for Boonsboro.
