Chambersburg woman injured when car strikes porch, tree

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg woman was injured Friday afternoon when her vehicle went off Warm Spring Road, then hit a porch and a tree, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Debora L. Mose, 48, of Chambersburg, was taken to Chambersburg Hospital, then flown by helicopter to Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center. She was listed in fair condition there Saturday afternoon.

Police said Mose was southbound in a 1998 Buick Skylark. The car turned over after hitting a tree and she was trapped inside. Members from the St. Thomas (Pa.) Fire Department freed her, police said.

The car was totaled, police said.
