"Survivor: Vanuatu, Islands of Fire"

A new installment of "Survivor" - the ninth - begins, with the nine-member tribes once again divided by sex. The location is a remote area of the South Pacific where CBS says that more than 80 islands are inhabited by a diverse group of tribes and clans who speak more than 100 languages. Close to the show's site is the "Ring of Fire," a series of volcanic islands.

"Will & Grace"

The series returns for its seventh season, starting with an extra-length episode that includes the return of guest star Jennifer Lopez, whom Karen (Megan Mullally) just happened to encounter in Las Vegas at the end of last season. "Will & Grace" has always sought out big-name guests, and it seems that this year will be no exception. Next week, look for Janet Jackson.
