The Maryland Insurance Administration will hold public meetings in Washington County on Sept. 28 and 29 to discuss insurance-related concerns and answer questions from residents and organizations.
The meetings will be from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, and from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Four Points Sheraton at 1910 Dual Highway in Hagerstown.
The meetings will be in an open, "town-hall" format. They are intended to educate residents and organizations about the role of the Maryland Insurance Administration in protecting consumers as well as regulating and promoting the insurance industry in Maryland, according to the administration.
Those attending will have the opportunity to discuss their concerns. Any individual or group wishing to schedule a specific time to speak at one of the meetings may do so by contacting Jeff Getek at 410-468-2022.
