Filmmaker Rory Kennedy looks at a nuclear power plant that is a center of controversy. Indian Point is only 35 miles north of Manhattan, and opponents say it is vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Its owners say it is "safe, secure and vital."

Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) heads to Hollywood. He's hoping to take his acting career far beyond what it was in New York; NBC executives are hoping that most of the "Friends" fans will come along. Drea de Matteo also stars, as Joey's sister and mother of a 20-year-old genius.

"Medical Investigation"

Federal experts rush from state to state, taking charge of efforts to stop outbreaks of "unexplained and fearful diseases." Neal McDonough and Kelli Williams lead the cast of this new series, which usually will be seen on Fridays; "ER" will return to its longtime spot on the Thursday schedule.
