Jury finds man guilty of assault in stabbing

A Washington County Circuit jury on Tuesday found a Hagerstown man guilty of second-degree assault and reckless endangerment in a March 9 stabbing.

Teeshi Davis, 19, whose last known address before his arrest was 1004H Noland Drive, was tried on charges related to the stabbing near 62 E. Franklin St. that sent a man to the hospital with stab wounds to his abdomen and head.

Circuit Judge Frederick C. Wright III sentenced Davis to three years in prison on the combined charges and ordered that he serve four years of unsupervised probation upon his release, according to court records.

The jury deliberated for a little more than two hours before it returned its verdicts, according to court records.
