Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club posts results

Eleven pairs competed Friday, Aug. 27, in a Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club game in Hagerstown.

Bill and Madeline Davis placed first in both the A and B strata with a 63.43-percent game. Frank and Anne Carden were second in A with 62.5 percent, and David and Elaine Jerviss - a couple visiting from Knoxville, Tenn. - came in third in A with 60.65 percent. Iris Yonetz and Margaret Peirce were fourth in A with 55.73 percent, and Jack and Pat Mesner came in second in B with 52.6 percent. Peg Stone and Bernice Sprecher placed third in B and first in C with 48.96 percent.

In the annual masterpoint race at the club, Dick and Lois Taylor are tied for first place with 29.83 points. Frank Carden is third with 18.44, and Anne Carden is fourth with 17.34. David Abuhove is in fifth place with 15.61, and Elaine Rowe is sixth with 15.41. Barbara Schoeck has 14.67 points for seventh place, and Bill and Madeline Davis are tied for eighth with 13.28. Jean Toth and Rick Elbo are tied for 10th place with 12.42 points.
