Apple-Raisin-Walnut Pie

Pastry for a 9-inch pie (two crusts)

3/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Dash salt

3 cups pared, sliced Cortland apples

3 cups pared, sliced McIntosh apples

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup raisins

2 tablespoons margarine


Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt.

Gently mix with sliced apples. Fold in walnuts and raisins. Put into pastry-lined pan, dot with margarine. Top with crust, seal, and make slits.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until golden brown.
