HARRISBURG, Pa. - Stephen Fincham recorded a hat trick as Heritage Academy opened the season with a win over Emanuel Baptist.

Steven Barthalow and Justin Cutchall each scored two goals, while Kevin Sandell and Travis Hendershot added one for the Eagles (1-0). Barthalow, Cutchall and Hendershot also assisted on goals.

FREDERICK, Md. - Megan Cox had 12 service points and Kristin Serafini had 11 as Grace Academy opened the season with a 28-26, 25-16, 25-11 win over New Life in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Off the Hook Diner 27, Coors Light 17: Gary Shatzer had six hits, while Jason Jordan and Chuck Kretzer had five to lead Off the Hook. Jimmy Hinkle, Tim Shatzer and Brad Stottlemyer each had four hits and Eric Hines and Chuck Shatzer added three. Frank Henson led Coors Light with four hits, while Melvin High and Phil Fiziat each added three. Fiziat also homered.

Hub City Heat 14, Coors Light 10: Greg Poulos and Dustin Taylor had five hits each for Heat. Shawn Faith and Scott Sweetman had four hits each and Poulos and Faith each homered.

Funkstown Moose/Remax 25, Jerry's Sports 15: Curty Myers, Lewie Thomas and Brad Weaver each had six hits, while Steve Hartle, Rick Scriver and Keith Hutzell added five for Funkstown/Remax.
