Spruill-Donius


Jennifer Marie Spruill and Adam George Donius announce their engagement.

Ms. Spruill is the daughter of Jeff and Marie Oyster of Hagerstown and Jerry Spruill of Huntingtown, Md. She is a 2002 graduate of Smithsburg High School, received an associate of arts degree from Hagerstown Community College and will attend Hood College in Frederick, Md., in the fall. She is employed as a teacher with Rehoboth Day Care Center in Williamsport.

Mr. Donius is the son of Stephen and Andrea Donius of Smithsburg. He is a 1998 graduate of Smithsburg High School and received an associate of arts degree from Hagerstown Community College. He is employed as a head teller with Hagerstown Trust Co. in Hagerstown.

A June 4, 2005, wedding is planned.




Siepielski-Harpster


Catherine Nicole Siepielski and Ryan P. Harpster announce their engagement.

Miss Siepielski is the daughter of Robert and Diana Siepielski of Waynesboro, Pa. She is a 1997 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School and received a bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pa. She is employed as a teacher at Western Heights Middle School in Hagerstown.

Mr. Harpster is the son of Michael and Carolyn Harpster of Williamsport. He is a 1991 graduate of Williamsport High School and received an associate's degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh. He is employed as a graphic arts editor with The Herald-Mail Co. in Hagerstown.

An August 2005 wedding is planned.




Barringer-David


Donald and Tina Barringer of Gastonia, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Mildred Barringer, to David Jonathan Davis, son of Robert D. and Karla K. Davis of Hagerstown.

Ms. Barringer is a graduate of Ashbrook High School and received a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. She is employed as a marketing manager with Sara Lee Corp. in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Mr. Davis is a graduate of Smithsburg High School and received a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. He is employed as a technology manager with Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem.

A Sept. 18 wedding is planned.




Stickler-Sichel


Jessica Lynn Stickler and Matthew Shenk Sichel announce their engagement.

Miss Stickler is the daughter of Gale P. Stickler and Anne M. Stickler, both of Hagerstown. She is a 2000 graduate of North Hagers-town High School and received a bachelor's degree in English from University of Maryland, College Park this year. She is employed by Apex Systems.

Mr. Sichel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Sichel of Reisterstown, Md. He is a 1998 graduate of Franklin High School and received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from University of Maryland, College Park in 2002. He is employed as a design supervisor with KCI Technologies Inc. in Hunt Valley, Md.

A June 2005 wedding is planned.




Link-Haugh


Mike and Lillian Link of Gastonia, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Michelle Link, to Damian Lynn Haugh, son of Carol Haugh of Smithsburg.

Ms. Link is a graduate of Ashbrook High School in Gastonia and attended Gaston College and Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, N.C. She is employed as a dental assistant with Crestwood Dental in Hagerstown.

Mr. Haugh is a graduate of Smithsburg High School and Frostburg State University. He plans to graduate from Mount St. Mary's University in May 2005 with a master's degree in business administration. He is employed as corporate controller for American Microwave Corp. in Frederick, Md.

An Oct. 9 wedding is planned.




Farrow-Winston


Harold Farrow Jr. of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Linda Farrow of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari Ann Farrow, to Larry William Winston, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Winston of Kearneysville, W.Va.

Ms. Farrow is a 1992 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and is attending Hagerstown Community College. She is employed with Washington County Health Department.

Mr. Winston is a 1991 graduate of Jefferson High School. He attended Bluefield State College and Shepherd University. He is employed with Washington County Public Schools.

Miss Thompson is the daughter of Mary G. Thompson of Cumberland, Md., and Gary E. Thompson of LaVale, Md. She is a graduate of Allegany High School and Shepherd College. She is employed as a marketing associate with Sysco Food Services of Virginia LLC.

Mr. Jones is the son of Patricia and J. William (Bill) Jones of North Richland Hill, Texas, and formerly of Williamsport. He is a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is employed as an associate engineer with Mack Trucks Inc.
