Teen critical after bike is struck by car

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - A 15-year-old Waynesboro boy struck by a car Thursday while riding his bicycle was listed in critical condition Friday at Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.

According to Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg, Pa., Steven Fedoriw of 9400 Anthony Highway was riding his bicycle east on Nunnery Road in Quincy Township. He rode into the intersection of Pa. 997 and was struck by a southbound 2002 Nissan Altima sedan driven by Corinne Killian, 33, of Chambersburg.

Fedoriw, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown to the hospital with head injuries, police said. The accident occurred around 9:20 a.m.
