Pa. men charged in drug arrests

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Two Waynesboro men were placed in Franklin County Prison Thursday on drug and weapon charges, Waynesboro Police said.

Arraigned before District Justice Larry Pentz were Damian Anthony Dames, 28, of 14 S. Franklin St., and Sean M. Siegrist, 19, of the same address.

Both were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dames also was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of instruments of a crime (body armor).

Siegrist also was charged with possession of a firearm by a minor.

The arrests followed an investigation into activity at the South Franklin Street address involving Waynesboro and Washington Township police departments, the Special Emergency Response Team and the Franklin County Drug Task Force.

According to police, a small amount of marijuana was found in the residence along with a loaded .38-caliber handgun and body armor.
