Quilters needed to help Lutheran World Relief

WILLIAMSPORT - The Hearts-n-Hand Quilt group is looking for people willing to spend time creating quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

The group will meet Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the social room of Zion Lutheran Church, 35 W. Potomac St. Thereafter, quilters will get together every third Thursday of the month.

Experience is unnecessary. All quilting materials and tools are provided. Organizers suggest those attending bring sandwiches for lunch.

The finished quilts are distributed where there is a need.

On Sunday a yard sale will be held in the church parking lot. The yard sale will feature quilts and other crafts.

For more information, call Nancy Sandberg at 304-262-6196 or the church office at 301-223-7260.
