Car and truck show

All cars, trucks, motorcycles and special-interest vehicles are welcome. There will be food, drinks, games, prizes, face painting, moon bounce and music. Today, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bethel Assembly, 515 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. $15 registration. There is no fee for spectators. Proceeds will benefit the church's children's ministry.

Frontier Craft Days

Jonathan Hager Frontier Craft Days focuses on crafts and music that typified the time when the Hager House was built. Fireman's parade

Part of the 103rd annual convention of the Cumberland Valley Volunteer Fireman's Association. Hancock Fireman's Parade will begin today at noon at Park-N-Dine and moves along Main Street to Widmeyer Park. Firefighters' games begin at 1 p.m. at Widmeyer Park. 'Alice's Adventures'

Cowans Gap State Park will offer a variety of nature programs this weekend. Today, family scavenger hunt at 4 p.m., snake presentation at 7 p.m. Sunday, birds of prey at 6 p.m. All programs are free. Sporting clays

A 50-target fun shoot conducted in a safe and controlled environment. Shooters younger than age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Community fair

Mercersburg Lions fair features rides, food and entertainment. The fair begins with a vesper service at 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by a concert by Mercersburg Community Band at 8 p.m., and fireworks at 9 p.m. Mercersburg (Pa.) Lions Park.

Concert in the park

Morningstar Singers will perform. Sunday, 7 p.m. Shafer Memorial Park gazebo, Boonsboro.

Municipal band

Alto soloist Tylor Sosby will sing with the Hagerstown Municipal Band. The band's program will include selections by Gioacchino Rossini, Richard Wagner and John Phillip Sousa. Sunday, 8 p.m. Hagerstown City Park, Peter Buys Band Shell.
