The Mazzers

Mr. and Mrs. Ed P. Mazzer of Sharpsburg celebrated a belated 45th wedding anniversary July 10, 2004, in Johnstown, Pa., with their children, Mark of Williamsport and Maura of Tampa, Fla., and relatives.

The Mazzers were married Dec. 27, 1958, in Pen Argyl, Pa.

Mr. Mazzer worked for the National Park Service for 35 years and retired from Antietam National Battlefield in 1991. Mrs. Mazzer worked for the National Park Service for 30 years and retired from the Interpretive Design Center in Harpers Ferry, W.Va., in 1994.

They spend winters in Florida.

The Seeses

Telford (Tom) and Doris Seese of Hagerstown celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with an evening out to dinner with their children and spouses, Edward and Patricia Seese of Hagerstown and Sally and Grant Starkey of Greencastle, Pa.

Mr. and Mrs. Seese were married July 30, 1934, in Bigler, Pa.

Mr. Seese retired from Mack Trucks Inc. of Hagerstown.


They have been members of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Hagerstown since 1953.

They have six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
