Poultry testing to be done for Jefferson County Fair

LEETOWN, W.Va. - All fowl to be entered in the Jefferson County Fair must be blood tested today or Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds, off Leetown Pike, the superintendent of the fair's poultry department said in a news release.

Paul Elliot said all poultry will be banded after testing and no poultry will be tested on entry day.

The Jefferson County Fair will be held Aug. 22 to 28.
