Fulton Financial

LANCASTER, Pa. - Fulton Financial Corp. will pay a quarterly cash dividend of 16.5 cents per share on its common stock on Oct. 15 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 22.

The company also announced earnings of $37.9 million in the second quarter of 2004, an 11.2 percent increase over $34.1 million for the second quarter of 2003. Diluted net income per share was unchanged at 31 cents. Annualized return on average assets was 1.44 percent for the quarter and annualized return on average equity was 13.82 percent.

The company reported net income of $73.7 million for the six months ended June 30, 2004, an 8.2 percent increase over the same period in 2003. Diluted net income per share for the first six months of 2004 increased to 62 cents, a 1.6 percent increase over the 61 cents reported in 2003. Total assets as of June 30, 2004, were approximately $10.6 billion.

Susquehanna Bancshares

LITITZ, Pa. - The board of directors of Susquehanna Bancshares Inc. recently declared a third-quarter dividend of 22 cents per share on its common stock.

The dividend is payable Aug. 20 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 2.

Susquehanna Bancshares is the parent company of Farmers & Merchants Bank and Trust.

Brechbill & Helman Construction Co.

Brechbill & Helman Construction Co. has been awarded a design/build contract for additions and renovations to the Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department in Sykesville, Md.

The $2 million project is scheduled to start in September, with completion slated for June 2005.

The architect for the project is B.W.M. Architecture Planning in Baltimore.

Diagnostic Testing Centers of America

Diagnostic Testing Centers of America recently opened a neurodiagnostic testing center at 412 N. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.

The center was opened in cooperation with Dr. Michael S. DeCriscio of Allegany Chiropractic Center.

The center provides precision on-site diagnostic testing services through a national network of physician practices.

FREDERICK, Md. - Mackintosh Realtors has expanded its service area to include Franklin and Adams counties in Pennsylvania.

Mackintosh now holds real estate brokerage licenses in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
