Our drink menu includes such favorites as espresso, cappuccino and lattes in over 20 flavors. For those looking to cool down, we offer a large variety of custom-blended frozen drinks that are available with or without coffee, and of course, fruit smoothies.

"Our breakfast menu includes breakfast sandwiches, fresh-baked scones, cinnamon buns, muffins, bagels, assorted pastries, along with our exclusive Higher Ground 'Muffin Peaks' (the best part, only the tops). Our lunch menu includes handmade sandwiches served on croissant rolls and pita bread stuffed with chunks of white-meat chicken salad. Caesar and garden salads are also available with sliced chicken breast.


"We are also the first coffee- house in Hagerstown to offer free high-speed wireless Internet access, and beginning in August, we will be hosting live music by local artists on selected Friday and Saturday nights."

How did you get into your business, or what motivated you to start it? "We recognized a need in this area of Hagerstown for a 'unique' specialty coffeehouse and caf that would have the perfect atmosphere to cater to the needs of area businesspeople, as well as the local community, as a meeting place or just to escape the daily hustle bustle of everyday life."

Previous business experience: More than 20 years of sales and marketing, and previous working experience at one of those "corporate coffee" stores.
