A 1950s con artist takes over the life of an American playboy in Italy. The 1999 movie stars Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett and Jude Law. It's based on a novel by Patricia Highsmith that was filmed earlier as "Purple Noon."

8 p.m. on TNT

"Robbie Knievel Live"

In connection with this weekend's debut of TNT's new movie about Evel Knievel, son Robbie attempts a live stunt - a motorcycle jump over planes on the deck of the USS Intrepid, the aircraft carrier that has become a museum in New York Harbor.

9 p.m. on the Sci-Fi Channel

"Out for Blood"

Already in trouble because he's accused of killing his estranged wife and her boyfriend, a detective (Kevin Dillon) meets up with a bunch of vampires. Also starring in this new movie are Vanessa Angel, Lance Henriksen and Melissa Rivers.


9 p.m. on Showtime

"The Italian Job"

A gang of thieves tries to regain gold stolen in Italy that wound up in the hands of a colleague who betrayed them. Starring in this 2003 movie are Mark Wahlberg, Donald Sutherland, Charlize Theron and Mos Def.

11 p.m. on PBS

"Austin City Limits"

Of all the musicians in Johnny Cash's extended family, daughter Rosanne gets our vote as the most interesting. She'll be followed on tonight's encore show by Neko Case, who invites comparisons to Patsy Cline.
