Stottlemyer-Lafferty


Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Stottlemyer of Smithsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Rae Stottlemyer, to Daniel William Lafferty, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Wayne Lafferty of Smithsburg. Ms. Stottlemyer also is the daughter of the late Donna K. Stottlemyer.

Ms. Stottlemyer is a 1996 graduate of Smithsburg High School and received an associate's degree and certificate in early childhood education from Hagerstown Community College in 1998. She is employed with Washington County Public Schools.

Mr. Lafferty is a 1998 graduate of Smithsburg High School. He is employed as a sales representative with Twigg Cycles in Hagerstown.

A May 2005 wedding is planned.




Warehime-Stoner


Donald and Anna Warehime of Forest Hill, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Denise Lynne Warehime, to Travis Hunt Stoner, son of Greg and Gail Stoner of Hagerstown.

Ms. Warehime is a 2000 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School in Bel Air, Md., and plans to graduate from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va., in May 2006, with a doctorate of pharmacy degree. She plans to work in a community pharmacy.

Mr. Stoner is a 1998 graduate of Smithsburg High School, received a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from Shenandoah University in 2002 and plans to graduate from Shenandoah University in August 2005 with a doctorate degree in physical therapy.

A summer 2006 wedding is planned.




Hess-Moore


Melanie J. Hess and Jason S. Moore of Waynesboro, Pa., announce their engagement.

Miss Hess is the daughter of Robert K. Hess and Peggy S. Hess of Waynesboro. She is a 1994 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School and received an associate's degree in applied science/computer applications from Hagerstown Business College in 1997. She is employed as a customer service representative with Spicher's Appliance in Hagers-town.

Mr. Moore is the son of Donna K. Moore of Hancock and the late Ronald L. Moore. He is a 1995 graduate of Hancock Middle-Senior High School. He is employed as a correctional officer with Maryland Correctional Training Center in Hagerstown.

An Oct. 30 wedding is planned.




Andrews-Shingleton


Mr. and Mrs. Terry Andrews of Clear Spring announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Andrews, to Stefan Brooks Shingleton, son of Butch Shingleton of Baltimore and Stephanie Shingleton of Clear Spring.

Ms. Andrews is a 2000 graduate of Clear Spring High School and received a bachelor's degree in business information systems from Villa Julie College this year. She is employed as a human resources information specialist with Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe Inc.

Mr. Shingleton is a 2000 graduate of Clear Spring High School and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in economics from University of Maryland, College Park.

A May 2005 wedding is planned.




Dorsey-Miner


Chassidy Nicole Dorsey and Christopher Michael Miner of Hagerstown announce their engagement.

Miss Dorsey is the daughter of Harry and Pamela Dorsey of Hagerstown. She is a 2000 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Hagerstown Community College. She is employed as a certified medical assistant with Plastic Surgery Services in Hagerstown.

Mr. Miner is the son of Michael and Susan Miner of Hagerstown and Joann and Bob Wolf of Myersville, Md. He is a 2000 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and is pursuing a degree in computer programming at Hagerstown Community College.

A 2005 wedding is planned.




Tinsman-Stratton


Jennifer Ann Tinsman and Christopher Gary Stratton of Hagerstown announce their engagement.

Miss Tinsman is the daughter of Robin and Frank Danfelt and Doug and Brenda Tinsman, all of Hedgesville, W.Va. She is a 1996 graduate of Hedgesville High School and is employed by a nursing facility in Hagerstown.

Mr. Stratton is the son of Pam and Greg Deck and Gary and Kay Stratton of Hagers-town. He is a 1998 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He is employed as a district relief manager for an area Waffle House.

Jennifer Mae Bragunier and Thomas Gerald Levi Warrenfeltz of Hagerstown announce their engagement.

Miss Bragunier is the daughter of Allen and Cherri Bragunier of Williamsport. She is a 2001 graduate of Williamsport High School. She is employed with Woolrich Factory Outlet in Hagerstown.

Mr. Warrenfeltz is the son of Jeffrey and Mischell Carbaugh of Hagerstown. He is a 2000 graduate of Washington County Technical High School. He is employed with Dick's Sporting Goods in Hagerstown.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Henderson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Renee Henderson, to Adam Kelly Malatt, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Malatt of Hedgesville, W.Va.

Miss Henderson is a 1992 graduate of Hedgesville High School. She is employed by The Center for Orthopedic Excellence.

Mr. Malatt is a 1997 graduate of Hedgesville High School. He is employed by Ruble's Contracting.

Easterday-Rohrer


Kelly Marie Easterday and Mark Anthony Rohrer of Boonsboro announce their engagement.

Ms. Easterday is the daughter of Rosela M. DeShong of Hancock and the late David L. Toms. She is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in accounting at Shepherd University. She is a self-employed licensed day-care provider in her home.

Mr. Rohrer is the son of Gerald and Kathryn Rohrer of Rohrersville. He is a 1986 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is employed as an Overhead Door installer/mechanic with Hagerstown Paint and Glass & Overhead Door Co., in Hagerstown.
