Participants just need to spot and identify the clues. All 12 can be spotted within three blocks north, south, east or west of Hagerstown's Public Square. Basically, that's a six-block-by-six-block quadrant with Public Square as its center. Clues might be found in the area west to Walnut Street, north to Randolph Avenue, east to Cannon Avenue and south to Lee Street. The images are visible from ground level, but they might be blatant on the front of a building or found on the back and visible from an alley or parking lot.
When you've found and identified the landmarks in the images, fill in their names or descriptions and locations on the numbered entry blank on page E10. To qualify, entries must include contestant's name, age, address and daytime and evening telephone numbers. Each person may submit only one entry.
Identify as many as you can for a chance to win. The person who correctly identifies all 12 pictures will win $500. If there's a tie, one name will be drawn randomly from the names of the winners. If no one correctly identifies all the photos, entries with the most correct answers will be eligible for a drawing.
Employees of The Herald-Mail and their families are not eligible.
