BRUNSWICK, Md. - Buzzy Jackson pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts to help Brunswick take a 2-1 series lead over Fayetteville.
Corey O'Bryan, Wayne Toms and Roger Dawson each drove in a run for the Orioles, who will travel to Fayetteville for the fourth game of the series today at 6 p.m.

Five Forks 24, Christ Lutheran 8: Nathan Strite had four hits and Dan McCleaf had three hits, including a home run, to lead Five Forks. Simon Drew had three hits for Christ Lutheran.
Hub City Softball
Thompson's Gas/Mike's Plumbing 20, Hub City Heat 3: Greg McCoy and Jerry Springs each had four hits to lead Thompson's. Denny Wallick hit three home runs, while McCoy and Jerry Jacobson each added one. Jimmy Ezolt had three hits for Thompson's.
Crazyhorse 19, Off The Hook 6: Bill Durboraw hit a grand slam, and Durboraw, Shaun Kendle, Ben Jones and Dennis Powell each had three hits for Crazyhorse.
Eddie's Apholstery 14, J&L Floors 12: Mike Barns had four hits and Bryan Hayes and Jason Gross each had three hits, including a home run, for Eddie's.
GOLF
Two golfers shoot 67
Brandon Sheaffer and Nick Zaccaria had identical front and back nine cards of 39-37 for 4-over par 76 to lead golfers in the Washington County Junior Golf tournament at Black Rock on Wednesday.
Alicia Grier shot 77 and Chris Martin posted a 78 as all four qualify next for week's fifth round of play at Beaver Creek.

North grad named to all-star team
Matt Johnson, 2002 graduate of North Hagerstown and junior at Bridgewater College in Virginia, has been named to the starting lineup of the Rockingham County Baseball League West All-Star Team. He will be representing the Bridgewater Reds and will start in left field at the RCBL All-Star Game to be held Sunday.
Local pair commit to Hood men's soccer team
Two local soccer players have made commitments to play for Hood College's inaugural men's soccer team this fall.
Goalkeeper Chad Baker, as well as sweeper Shane McCarrick will both play for the Blazers this fall in the first season of Hood's new soccer program.
Baker, a Brunswick grad, was named to the All-MVAL Antietam squad in his junior year and made the first team his senior year while also leading the Railroaders to the Md. Class 1A South quarterfinals.
McCarrick led Middletown to the MVAL Piedmont title and to the Md. Class 2A West quarterfinals this past season while also being named first team All-MVAL Piedmont. He was named honorable mention All-MVAL as a junior.
