July 21, 2004

As a teenager, Frances Fox Funk, now 89, moved with her family to Pigskin Ridge east of Hancock, where her father, Frank Fox, worked for the Millstone Orchard Co. operated by A.J. Fulton. We got rid of her when we got hard up for money, and we had to sell her. It was rough, but we made it."
