Gilbert-Stevens


Suzanne Louise Stevens and Dr. Thomas Joseph Gilbert III were married Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Burnside First Church of God in Sharpsburg.

The bride is the daughter of Anna and Frank Bywaters Sr. of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Mary and Thomas Gilbert Jr. of Baltimore.

The bride is employed by Washington County Emergency Medicine Physicians as Washington County Hospital Emergency Physician's Group practice manager.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo., as a doctor of osteopathic medicine. He served as lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps from 1973 to 1997. He is employed by Washington County Emergency Medicine Physicians LLC as chairman of emergency medicine for Washington County Hospital. He also holds appointments as associate professor of surgery at University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and as clinical assistant professor of emergency medicine at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Ashley Ommert and Jeremy Sowers were married Sunday, May 15, 2004, in a garden wedding at the home of the bridegroom's parents in Boonsboro.

The bride is the daughter of Jodi Spickler and Don Ommert, both of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Rod and Sue Sowers of Boonsboro.

The bride received a bachelor of science degree in business management from Frostburg State University in 2002 and is pursuing a master of business administration degree in finance at Mount St. Mary's University. She is employed as a branch manager with M&T Bank in Boonsboro.

The bridegroom received a bachelor of science degree with double majors in justice studies and sociology from Frostburg State University in 2002. He is employed as assistant branch manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Hagerstown.

They live in Williamsport.




Brooks-Moser


Danielle Renee Moser and Adam McKinley Brooks were married Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of Sally A. Redding of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Duane M. Moser of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Clyde M. Brooks of Portsmouth, Ohio.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, a 2000 graduate of University of Charleston, and a 2003 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. She is employed as a chiropractic physician in Canton, Ohio.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Greenbrier East High School, a 2000 graduate of University of Charleston, and a 2003 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. He is employed as a chiropractic physician in Akron, Ohio.
