McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - A Fulton County, Pa., man died Sunday morning when he crashed a pickup truck on Pa. 522 in Ayr Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Joshua L. Shindle, 21, of 4137 Laurel Ridge Road, Big Cove Tannery, Pa., was pronounced dead at the scene of the 2:02 a.m. accident, according to Fulton County Coroner Daryl Heckman. The cause of death was blunt-force trauma and Heckman said there will be no autopsy.

Police said Shindle was driving a 1990 Chevy pickup south on Pa. 522 near Rock Hill Road when he lost control and went off the right side of the road. The truck traveled along the berm for a distance and then back onto the road, crossing the northbound lane, going up an embankment and hitting a utility pole, police said.

The truck then went airborne and rolled over 21/2 times before coming to rest on its roof in a field, police said.
