Schools to host computer camps

Computer camps have been scheduled for students who were in grades one through five during the 2003-04 school year:

July 12-15: Boonsboro Elementary School

July 19-22: Lincolnshire Elementary School

Students will explore the use of multimedia authoring software for the purpose of drawing, creating stories, and creating slide shows of a favorite subject.

Opportunities will be available for importing graphics from scanners and digital cameras. Students can use their own creativity to draw, paint, record sound and animate graphics. There may be some opportunities for working with Web pages.

Registration deadline for all camps is Wednesday, July 7. No refunds will be issued after camp begins.

Sessions run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. There will be a minimum of 22 and a maximum of 25 students per session.


Tuition for Washington County residents is $50 and for non-county residents is $70, with preference given to county residents. Payment is by check only.
