You are welcome to leave a recorded message on any subject, but some calls will be screened out.

Here are some of the calls we have received lately:

"For several days the farewell to Reagan mentioned and praised God many, many times. I am sure many Americans approved. Why are some judges allowing the ACLU to behave the way it does?"

"I am wondering if we will ever hear what it cost for Reagan's funeral. I know it was elaborate and will probably be in the millions. I question whether some of or even half of that money could have been used for research for a cure for Alzheimer's disease."

"I can't understand, everyone is complaining about the war in Iraq, but in Sunday's paper, they have a re-enactment of the Civil War in Funkstown. Everyone is complaining about the war in Iraq, but they are having all these re-enactments and they were all Americans, too."

"Why does the County Roads Department have a problem with coming up here on Cedar Ridge Road and fixing it? It's terrible. Someone is going to get hurt or killed."

"I am calling to find out if it's illegal to park on the opposite side of the street facing the wrong way. Everywhere I look now, they pull in any way they want and let them sit for hours or days. It's mostly young kids who do this."

"How do you get cat hair off furniture? It's very hard to get off when they lay on the couch and so forth."

"We are sorry you didn't get your mail on Friday, but it isn't going to kill you missing it for one day."

"In the 1970s I worked at The Maryland Theatre. Back then, they had foot patrols. Why don't they have foot patrols now instead of the bike patrols?"

"We want to congratulate our granddaughter, Tracey, who was selected president of the National Honor Society at Clear Spring High School. She will be a senior next year. From Nanny and Pappy Ridenour."

"Congratulations to Jennifer and Chris on the birth of your son on June 8. Also, congratulations to grandma Vanessa, Granddaddy Harry and Uncle John. Take care and love you all."
