Hagerstown Colt League

Eagles 9, BJ's Custom Embroidery 5: Andrew Blickenstaff struck out seven and had three hits for Eagles, while Kenny Shanholtz had three hits and Tyler Braithwaite and Dustin Boward each had two hits.

South Mountian Little League

Pete's Barber Shop 11, Thompson's 2: Sean Colgan had two hits, including a home run, to lead Pete's Barber Shop. Brandan Nokes added three hits, while Jeremy Hardy and Brandon Schilling each added two hits in the win. Brandon McLean homered for Thompson's.

Middle School Division

Mid-Atlantic Orthopaedic 11, Allegany Dental 4: Alyssa Collier and Caroline Krieger had two hits each to lead Mid-Atlantic.

Nutter's Ice Cream 5, Mid-Atlantic Orthopaedic 4: Courtney Kefauver had two hits for Nutter's. Caroline Krieger had two hits for Mid-Atlantic Orthopaedic.


BJ's Custom Creation's 16, Mid-Atlantic Orthopaedic 7: Rachel Amalfitano and Alyssa Collier had two hits each for Mid-Atlantic.

Larry Allen wins 'B' title

Sarah Hoover had four hits and was named tournament MVP as Larry Allen Photography scored a 14-10 win over Weller's for the Washington County Girls Softball 'B' Division title. Hoover hit .800 for the tournament.

Sarah Duffy added four hits and Amanda Hutzell added three hits for Larry Allen. Kari Smith, Lauren McVicker and Katie Cronise all added two hits. Amanda LaFollette and T-Bone Jewell had two hits each for Weller's. LaFollette was named MVP for Weller's.

Larry Allen Photography 21, William Gower 7: Britni Smith and Sarah Duffey had three hits each and Amanda Hutzell homered to lead Larry Allen. Sam Sines, Lauren McVicker, Sarah Hoover and Jenna Doggett had two hits each in the win.

Larry Allen 16, Ernst Market 6: Sam Sines had four hits to lead Larry Allen. Sarah Hoover, Amanda Hutzell and Jessica Needy all had three hits for Larry Allen, while Britni Smith, Kari Smith and Katie Cronise added two hits each.

Redmen 10, Taylor Trucking 5: Austin Taylor and Jordan Palladino had three hits, Dalton Scriever and Devon Byrd had two hits and Byrd, Nathan Willis and Andy Iseminger combined on a three-hitter for Redmen.

Hancock Little League

Tigers 15, Pirates 9: Bubba Weller had four hits, Joe Lashley had three hits, Cody Burgoyne had two hits and Steve Starliper and Chris Harden combined for eight strikeouts for the Tigers. Ryan Harper had three hits and T.J. Leedy and Ethan Martin combined for 10 strikeouts for the Pirates.
