Mary Bray, the director of the Hagerstown Telework Center, is moving to upstate New York to take another job.The Hagerstown Telework Center, at 14 N. Potomac St., allows government employees to work near their homes instead of commuting long distances, such as to Washington, D.C. Most of their work is done by phone, fax and computer.

Bray, who turned 60 on Wednesday, has been the director for about nine years.

She said her resignation is effective at the end of May.

Bray said her new job is associate dean of admissions at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. It's the college where she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology.

A search for her replacement is beginning and there already has been some interest, Bray said Friday.
