May 06, 2004|by PEPPER BALLARD

Disposition was delayed for a 16-year-old boy who admitted in juvenile court Wednesday to twice being in possession of alcohol as a minor in March.

Washington County Assistant State's Attorney Steven Kessell said that on March 27, shortly after 9 p.m., the youth was found in a fetal position on a city street and was "highly intoxicated." He said that on March 30, the youth was found again to be intoxicated.

Washington County Circuit Judge Donald E. Beachley, sitting in juvenile court, placed the youth on community detention until a June 2 disposition.
