Police arrest five in drug raids

Police made five arrests stemming from drug raids conducted Thursday at three Hagerstown residences, the Washington County Narcotics Task Force said.

Police said they found crack cocaine and marijuana at 11106 Jade Court and 412 Reynolds Ave.

Those arrested include:

  • Phillip Nathaniel Taylor, 20, charged with two counts of distribution of crack cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and two counts of possession of crack cocaine.

  • Ashlee Danielle Watkins, 21, charged with maintaining a common nuisance, manufacturing controlled dangerous substances, possession of a controlled firearm and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

  • Bryan Jarrad Slater, 19, charged with two counts of distribution of crack cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, two counts of possession of crack cocaine, one count of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Bruce Austin Walker Jr., 19, charged with two counts of distribution of crack cocaine, three counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, three counts of possession of crack cocaine and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Elijah Timothy Taylor, 24, charged with possession of marijuana.


No charges were filed in connection with a search-and-seizure warrant executed the same night at 229 N. Jonathan St., Apt. 302, police said.
