'Dogs put Suns back on a leash

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Hagerstown Suns were again at a loss for hits on Friday.And by the time they found the hits, they had a loss.

The Suns fell back into the pattern of patchwork offense on Friday as Charleston (S.C.) took advantage of Hagerstown's anemic ways for a 8-4 victory.

Hagerstown (3-9) lost for the ninth time in 10 games by collecting just four hits in the first seven innings. By the eighth inning, Charleston already held a 7-0 lead.

Suns starter Ryan Sadowski struck out seven in 4 2/3 innings. Delmon Young broke the game open for Charleston with a two-run single in the fifth.

Jonathan Armitage had a two-run double in the eighth for the Suns, while Nate Schierholtz added an run-scoring single and Jason Columbus had an RBI double.
