Drummond honored


PRINCETON, W.Va. - Shepherd College catcher Charlie Drummond was named one of the West Virginia Conference players of the week following a heavy-hitting performance. Drummond, a senior native of Strasburg, Va., launched five home runs to extend his season total to a league-leading 15. He also batted .500 for the week, drove in 12 runs and scored seven times to lead Shepherd to four wins in five games.

Also nominated for the award was Shepherd pitcher Scott Koscielniak, who won two games.
