WILLIAMSPORT - Winning pitcher Courtney Hutchinson went 4-for-4 as Williamsport rolled past North Hagerstown in the MVAL Antietam.
Mandy Spickler, Adrienne Munoz and Sarah Harden each had three hits, while Beth Ryan had two for the Wildcats (2-1, 1-0). Spickler drove in three runs and Munoz added two.
Catoctin 11, Smithsburg 0
SMITHSBURG - Sam Weaver tossed a one-hitter and added two hits to lead Catoctin past Smithsburg in an MVAL Antietam opener.
Ashley Lenhart had three hits and stole two bases, while Sara Wastler added two hits and two RBI for the Cougars (3-2, 1-0). Alecia Brandenburg, Kasey Stiles and Mandi Lambert also had two hits.
