McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - A Fulton County man was flown to a Pennsylvania trauma center following a one-vehicle crash Sunday, Pennsylvania State Police said.

State police based in McConnellsburg said Dennis Barton of Wells Tannery, Pa., was injured in a U.S. 30 crash reported at 6:45 p.m. Sunday.

Barton's 2002 Ford Explorer traveled off the south berm of the road near Forest Park, struck a street sign and then struck a tree.

Police said the Ford partially rolled over and came to rest on its driver's side.

Police said the incident was still under investigation.

Police said Barton was flown to the Altoona Trauma Center in Altoona, Pa., for treatment of injuries.

An Altoona Trauma Center spokeswoman said Barton was listed in critical condition late Monday.

Crash investigators could not be reached for comment on the crash late Monday at the McConnellsburg barrack. A police spokesman declined to comment on details of the crash or Barton's injuries.
