Jennifer M. Campbell and Ian R. Boward

Jennifer Marie Campbell, 21, of 7509 McClellan Ave., Boonsboro, and Ian Ross Boward, 21, of 11549 Selema Drive, Hagerstown, companions for the past six years, died Saturday, March 27, 2004, from injuries received in an automobile accident in Fairplay.

Jennifer was born Nov. 14, 1982, in Ranson, W.Va., the daughter of Robert Eugene McDonald of Boonsboro and Angela Ladawn Campbell of Ranson.

Ian was born March 16, 1983, in Waynesboro, Pa., the son of David Raphael Boward and Susan Diane Davis Boward of Hagerstown.

Jennifer was previously employed by Burger King and Ian was employed by the Hagerstown office of Novelty Inc.

Ian attended Williamsport High School.

They attended New Covenant Life Church, Hagerstown.

In addition to their parents, they are survived by their son, Ian M. Boward.

Jennifer also is survived by three brothers, Bobby McDonald of Boonsboro, and Augustine Campbell and Anthony Campbell, both of Ranson; maternal grandmother Bonnie Wentworth of Ranson; and paternal grandparents Jesse and Kathleen McDonald of Frederick, Md.


She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Margaret and Paul Oden.

Ian also is survived by three sisters, Lydia Exline, Megan Davy and Sydney Boward, all of Hagerstown; one half brother, Michael Boward of Hagerstown; and maternal grandmother Jane Davis of Hagerstown.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Robert Davis.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport. The Rev. Tim M. Fisher will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.

There will be no viewing.

Marjorie B. Pryor

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Marjorie B. Pryor, 85, formerly of 13988 Buchanan Trail West, died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Menno Haven Nursing Home, Chambersburg, Pa.

Born June 8, 1918, in Cove Gap, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James and Eva Swisher Funk.

Her husband, William N. Pryor, died May 1, 1978.

She was a homemaker.

She attended Montgomery Brethren in Christ Church, Mercersburg.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy J. Forbes and Saundra N. Reeder, both of Greencastle, Pa.; two sons, William A. Pryor of Lemasters, Pa., and Joseph L. Pryor of Mercersburg; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one grandson.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

There will be no viewing.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Arrangements are by Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, Mercersburg.

Junior L. Pryor

QUINCY, Pa. - Mr. Junior L. Pryor, 83, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, Quincy, and formerly of Cascade, Md., died at 12:07 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004, in the nursing home. He had been in failing health for the past two years and critically ill for the past month.

Born Sept. 11, 1920, in Cascade, he was the son of the late Victor L. and Annie E. (Fox) Pryor. He lived all his life in the Cascade area.

Mr. Pryor attended Cascade and Smithsburg schools.

He and his wife, the late Virginia A. (Dailey) Pryor, were married on March 22, 1947, in Hagerstown, Md. Mrs. Pryor died on Oct. 11, 2003. Mr. Pryor entered Quincy Home Assisted Living on Oct. 17, 2003.

Mr. Pryor was employed at Fort Ritchie Commissary, retiring in 1972.

He was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Cascade.

Mr. Pryor enjoyed doing yard work, walking in the mountains, spending time with his granddaughters, good conversation and playing bingo.

Mr. Pryor is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Sue Keilholtz, Thurmont, Md., and Sharon K. Erdenbrack and Patricia Ann Miller, both of Cascade; two sons, David L. Pryor, Cascade, and Dwight E. Pryor, Fairfield, Pa.; five granddaughters; and one sister, Kathleen P. Pound, Hagerstown.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2004, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Foor officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Anna M. Jenkins

Anna Marie Jenkins, 75, of 109 Devonshire Road, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Saturday, March 27, at her home.

Born in Hagerstown on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Giovanni (Grasso) Pennesi.

She was the widow of Charles Linwood Jenkins, who passed away in 1999.

She was formerly employed at Hagerstown Shoe Factory and Alice's Sub Shop.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers, Kitchen Committee, and was voted Mother of the Year in 2001.
