Brown-Taylor


Mr. and Mrs. James "Art" Brown Jr. of Williamsport announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Brown, to David Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor of Manassas, Va.

Ms. Brown is a 1994 graduate of Williamsport High School, received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va. She is employed as a marketing manager with Guest Services Inc., in Fairfax.

Mr. Taylor is a 1997 graduate of Chantilly High School in Chantilly, Va., and is pursuing an associate in applied science degree in automotive technology from Northern Virginia Community College. He is employed as a truck technician with J. Price International in Lorton, Va.

An October wedding is planned.




Mitchell-Wilhide


Mr. and Mrs. Gary J. Mitchell of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer M. Mitchell, to James L. Wilhide, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Wilhide Sr., of Hagerstown.

Miss Mitchell is a 1997 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School, received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Shippensburg University in 2002 and is pursuing a master's degree at Frostburg State University. She is employed by Washington County Board of Education as a third-grade teacher at Salem Avenue Elementary School.

Mr. Wilhide is a 1998 graduate of Grace Academy. He is employed by Larkin Wholesale Co. Inc. in Hagerstown.

A fall wedding is planned.




Langan-Lorshbaugh


Elaine D. Langan and Larry R. Lorshbaugh announce their engagement.

Ms. Langan is the daughter of Joseph W. Taylor Sr., and the late Aleeta L. Washington. She is a 1984 graduate of Allegany High School and is pursuing a nursing career.

M. Lorshbaugh is the son of the late Carl and Ellen Louise Lorshbaugh. He is a 1976 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He is employed as a pasteurizer at Good Humor Breyers and also is president of the local steelworkers union.

A June wedding is planned.
