Anna B. Keefer


McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Anna Belle Keefer, 64, of Fulton County Medical Center Extended Care Unit, died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at the medical center.

She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Edna Custer Schetrompf.

She was the wife of the late Ronald D. Keefer.

She worked at London Fog in Hancock as a press operator.

She was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Big Cove Tannery, Pa.

She was a member of McConnellsburg American Legion Post 561 Women's Auxilary and the Women's Auxilary of the VFW of McConnellsburg and Fort Louden, Pa. She was a member of the Women's Auxilary of the American Legion in Fort Louden.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Keefer and Randall Keefer, both of McConnellsburg; five sisters Mary E. Burgman of Hagerstown, Martha M. Johnson of Big Cove Tannery, Esther C. Bellos of Martinez, Ga., Ruth N. Myers of Fairplay and Rebecca McDowell of Chambersburg, Pa., five half sisters: Brenda Hall of Mt. Home, Tenn., Cindy Lafonllette of Johnson City, Tenn., Kathy Compton of Grey, Tenn., Debbie Stines of Hildebrand, N.C., and Sherry Sheetz of Johnson City; and three brothers, Leslie Schetrompf of Hancock, Jonathan Schetrompf of Johnstown, Pa., and David Schetrompf of Chambersburg; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Schetrompf.

Service will be at Thursday at 11 a.m. at Antioch Christian Church. The Rev. Belvy White will officiate. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in Big Cove Tannery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, which will be open from 2 to 9 p.m.

Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg.




Elizabeth Funk


ANNAPOLIS - Elizabeth "Betty" Funk, 54, of 968 Mt. Holly Drive, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at her home.

Born Sept. 4, 1949, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Sid and Stella Price Urbansky.

She was employed by Fleet Reserve Club in Annapolis for 17 years.

She is survived by her husband, John C. Funk, and one sister, Irene Tochterman of Bensalem, Pa.

Services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Christopher Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cynthia A. Robinson


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Cynthia A. Robinson, 48, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at City Hospital.

Born Feb. 4, 1956, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of Rose Mary Feigley Robinson of Falling Waters, W.Va., and the late Lawrence Robinson.

She was a member of Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her companion, James Morris of Martinsburg; two sisters, Juanita Banks of Martinsburg, and Patricia Imbach of Falling Waters; four brothers, Scott Robinson of Falling Waters, Lawrence Robinson of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Todd Robinson and John Robinson, both of Martinsburg.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren. Pastor Eddie H. Edmonds will officiate. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren, 136 E. Moler Ave., Martinsburg, WV 25401.

Catherine T. DeVal


BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Catherine Theresa "Cay" DuVal, 73, of Berkeley Springs, died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at Berkeley Springs Rehab and Nursing Center.

Born Oct. 24, 1930, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late William Mercer and Edna May Barton DuVal.

Born with cerebral palsy, she was home schooled by her parents.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Berkeley Springs.

She is survived by one sister, Audrey M. Sciales of Berkeley Springs.

She was preceded in death by her caregiver, Salvatore Sciales.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Berkeley Springs. The Fr. Joseph C. Mercieca will be celebrant. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs, and at St. Vincent's Paul Niner Hall following the services.




Charles A. Rothrock


SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Charles A. Rothrock, 79, of RR5, and a former resident of Grayson View Assisted Living, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Sunbury Community Hospital.

Born Oct. 21, 1924, he was the son of the late Andrew Rothrock and Mary Bachman Knepp.

His first wife, Marian L. Riland, died in 1955. His second wife, Jean E. Heimback, died in 1998.

He was a 1943 graduate of McClure High School.

He operated a milk truck delivery route for East Malta Farms.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

He was a member of Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association and Middlecreek Valley Antique Machinery Association and had been a bluegrass promoter.
