BIG POOL - A Bethesda, Md., woman and her three daughters were transported to Washington County Hospital after a one-vehicle accident Friday evening on Interstate 70.

Lisa Harrison, of Sonoma Road in Bethesda, was airlifted by helicopter to the hospital, according to Maryland State Police. She still was being treated in the hospital's emergency department Friday night.

Cpl. Wayne Wachsmuth of the Maryland State Police said Harrison was traveling west on I-70 near Big Pool when she swerved to miss debris in the road. She then tried to swerve back onto the road and flipped her 1998 Dodge Caravan, Wachsmuth said.

The children, ages 11, 8 and 6, were taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries, according to Trooper Danny Souders.
