Washington County District Court Judge Ralph H. France II found probable cause at a Wednesday preliminary hearing in the case of a man charged in connection with a shooting nearly two years ago, court records say.

Charges against Clyde Miller, also known as "Quane," 27, of no fixed address, were forwarded to Washington County Circuit Court, court records say.

Records say Miller was charged with one count each of attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of handgun during a crime of violence and wearing/carrying a handgun, records say.

Miller was charged shortly after a May 2, 2002, shooting in the 400 block of Park Place, police said.

A Florida man was shot in the foot in that incident, police said.
