HANCOCK - This winter's snow, ice and rain are believed to be the cause of damage to the roof of the Hancock Town Hall and Community Center, Town Manager Larry Logan said at Wednesday's Town Council meeting.
The damage was over a section of the Town Council's meeting room, in which a hole in a ceiling tile and water damage to a few tiles were visible.
Logan said he thought the damage was localized to that spot.
"That's good news, because it'll probably make the repair much easier," Logan said.
